Sussex to Turf Motorcycle route suggestions

Riding up Saturday morning and staying over for the Arsenal game.

I'd prefer a mix of motorway/classic roads.

Was thinking of maybe coming off the M1 at junc 28 and riding through Matlock to Hyde

Further south I'm undecided. Any suggestions for route and stop offs very welcome.

I'd like to keep it below 300m all motorway is 280

Don’t know any routes but I’m very envious. Will have to have a ride up myself next season. I’d definitely head through the Peak District.

Hi Pearcey, in the end i did what I wanted to avoid and went straight up the motorway.... I got away really early Saturday and was in Colne by 10.15.
So Saturday afternoon was spent riding round the Yorkshire Dales which was fantastic.

I'll return home via the Peaks.
