Kicker Conspiracy
Would anybody happen to know how this video came to be filmed at Turf Moor in 1982?
Mark E Smith was a Man City fan and I'm not aware of any Burnley connections within the band.
Whatever your opinion of The Fall we should be grateful that this video documented some fantastic imagery of the ground at that time.

Don't watch that video unless you're already proud.

Brilliant song. I’ve got the VHS cassette with it on. Don’t forget The Fall once graced The Centre Spot too.
Re: Kicker Conspiracy
Might be a daft question but is this where Kicker Conspiracy, the fanzine, got its name from?

I don't think it WAS a throwaway comment...
I think you really believed your post when you wrote it.
I think you realise now you were wrong, and you are now looking for a way out.
I'm right, aren't I?

Damn you've sussed me out. Ive only ever seen Turf Moor on the TV and I cant remember seeing any terracing so thought it must just be a ground like ours. Good work Miss Marplebobinho wrote:I don't think it WAS a throwaway comment...

He’s the devils advocate. It’s his job to give the opposite view. But maybe after that he should step back and and watch the ‘debate’ play out.

I agree, in a way. But it might be more fun to throw the grenade In and then retreat.
