And the day ends with Colne top of the league!!! OK, top of the second division, but even so ...

Next week's teamsheet will be a collector's item.

Some crazy results so far this season. The big boys seem to be losing regular.

I caught the last bit of the Burnley/Clitheroe game where Clitheroe through it away chasing a small total.

No mention of the Lowerhouse result, they’ve not lost again have they?

Burnley won a low scoring game and I think Lowerhouse were beaten.

Stopped off before the game and Burnley were about 30-5. Was it 68 all out? Perhaps the noise from the football was a distraction!!

Burnley were always going to win with their spin attack providing they scored over 100, Smit, Holt, Tripathi bowling on that dust track.

Cant see Lowerhouse winning it this year, seems to be something missing at the moment, certainly have the quality there to do it though.

A few of the locals were moaning about the quality of tracks that are currently getting produced at Burnley yesterday.

Burnley reached 112 and then bowled out Clitheroe for 100.

Its generally been a good track at Burnley but I'd agree it looked far too dry yesterday considering the weather we have had.

No problem with using home advantage to suit your attack. Lowerhouse in a relegation scrap?

Didn't Lowerhouse lose a few last season at the start and then the pro got injured?
Then got some very high quality sub pro's in and never looked back.

Don’t worry about Lowerhouse, we will be fine.

Whoever wins it will lose 4-5 games minimum this season. The standard is phenomenal.

As for last season, Lowerhouse lost 2 of the first 5 and didn’t lose again thereafter.

The sub pros comment is a little harsh. The pro got injured at the end of June at a point where he was top 4 in the bowling and running away with the batting with 500 plus runs in 10 knocks averaging over 70.

If anyone thinks finding sub pros week in and week out gives a side an advantage, I invite them to give it a go. It’s a bloody nightmare.

That guy Rishton signed, extras, was top scorer again with 11 runs and nobody else reaching double figures.
