What a great end of season game, really entertaining, we've played some lovely stuff and unlucky not to have at least have scored, so too Arsenal.

Good first half with us creating a few decent chances. Would be great to nick it but if we can get a draw it will be a good way to wrap up the season

Half Time and Madge is in full swing.

Should be winning.

Come on Burnley.

If I was Vydra I would forget the pint, get in my car and drive to another club.

We just used all three of our substitutions to load the crossing talent on the wings and fuel the "cross to Crouch" strategy that is yet to work. We went from a team of players to ten men trying their best to give the eleventh a glory moment.

It saps what creativity we have and makes us predictable, as well as leaving us wide open to counters. I'm not sure that I can watch a full season of that if we extend the contract of Crouch.

It would have been nice to see Barnes playing alongside Vydra for once and for Ward to get a run out.

Oh they scored, what a surprise.

Heaton dropping a few clangers in the latter part of this season. Making the sort of mistakes I’ve never seen him make before this year. 34.

Call me reactionary, but is selling Pope instead really the right thing to do at all?

I would be very happy to see Pope as our main keeper next season, plus two midfielders to replace Cork an Hemdrick, and please get some pace up front. And, don't get me started on Crouch!!

That's all folks. Another defeat but we should have been well ahead.

Well done to our gallant heroes.

Madge's contract expires soon. Will she re-sign?

Here she is to salute us all and sign off the season.

Looking forward to another prem season.

Up the Clarets.

Hopefully that's goodbye now to a lot of deadwood cluttering up the place, and draining the wage bill.

Defour, Hart, Crouch, Lennon, Ward (sadly), Vydra's obviously never going to get a game for us, Gibson is conspicuous by his absence today (unless injured). Cork needs to become a squad player. Clear out needed, whilst recognising we've had a great second half of the season.

Escaping relegation was nothing short of a miracle. Many lessons to be learned-lets hope we re-act as next year could see a tougher PL

Lets hope SD knows who he can release and lets hope we don't leave our buying until 2 days before the season re-opens

At least we can have another two cracks at Arsenal next year ...and Liverpool and Man City and Chelski. We'd all take that. Well done Sean. Well done the lads. Even the ones who only warmed the bench.

I consider this game a warning, just like the 5-0 at Arsenal was last season. Question is, will we heed this warning in summer?

Massive summer ahead. Dyche and the recruitment team really need to step up, more excuses about how difficult the market is or signing 38 year old strikers isn't going to cut it now.
