And that's next season's objective in a nutshell

Post by MACCA » Sun May 12, 2019 5:05 pm

Arsenal reserves an easy 3 ( could have been 6 )
Burnley 1

How several stayed on the pitch I'll never know.

Next season’s objective I is very simple… Keep the same shape and organisation, but do everything quicker… Much, much quicker!

We should have had 4 in the first half including a penalty , they for lucky with their first and that was that but in the whole I didn't think we played too bad

..... and practice passing the ball.

The number of times our wayward passes are intercepted, leading to quick counters that put us on the back foot and under pressure, is truly frightening at times.

The lads get the ball, pass the ball, lose the ball, sprint back to our box and defend for their lives. More accurate passing would actually allow us more time on the ball, leading to more constructive build up play and result in us expending less energy running up and down the pitch. It's like out lads are attached to bungee cords at times.

When Defour plays our overall passing game improves and we look at lot calmer and more relaxed.

Thought we passed it and played well first half and missed some real chances. That is the difference.

Physicality needs upgrading big time in this team. Need stronger players in the middle and faster players out wide. Simple stuff.

Absolutely, if 4-0 @ HT, no one could have argued any different...

That was last years too.

If you're bringing on Peter crouch to rescue the game, you're miles behind.

Yes 6 months as a stop gap, fair play.

Anymore, you're deluded.

Game was asking for a technical player , instead we deployed a washed up has been, who didn't win a single header in 20 minutes.

Enjoy watching it guys
