I disagree. It shows Cork's passing stats were decent irrespective of the type of pass. Mee and Tarkowski could have a 100% success pass rate throughout a game constantly passing the ball to each other square along the backline. It's when they seek to move the ball forward that their chances of losing possession significantly increase and the percentage goes down. So basically the simpler you keep it the better your stats get, (though I'm not saying that that's always a bad thing, it depends what the team and style of play demands).
