Down my way, we have a friend of mine, Clare Moody MEP.

She is very positive towards the role of MEP and does us proud.

I pondered this at post 155. Basically all of your options are pretty crap.

TonbridgeClaret wrote:Farage has a car and driver supplied like some other party leaders, he has an office in Westminster supplied - like every other party leader. He has a house rented in London - like some party leaders and several MPs. That was poor even by Channel 4 standards. Farage is attacked by the mainstream media just before an election, what a surprise! There was a surge in support for the Brexit Party after Andrew Marr's attempted hatchet job. This type of destructive journalism convinces me, and probably several others to vote for Farage even more.
So if Mark Zuckerberg was paying for Boris Johnson's home and car you'd look at that and think "that's fair enough"?

£3 to make Labour unelectable was much better value

What has she done for you that's made you proud?

Jeremy would never put that money straight into the back pockets of his hemp trousers.

She turns up, does her duties and speaks particularly, on behalf of SW Region and Gibraltar, for starters. That put her light years ahead of the wastrels!

Hi Ian, "and Gibraltar"? So, Devon, Cornwall and Gibraltar are all in the same EU MEP constituency?

I've got to ask, how does that work?

Other than your friend, is there any other MEP that you are aware of that I'd good value for money?

You asked him to name one and he named one, so now you want two?

Gibraltar is too small for its own MEP so has been attached to the nearest mainland constituency since 2004.

Not only that, you can fly there!

I don't think it is a prerequisite that you make a weekly visit to anywhere! As long as you get involved in furthering the projects and liaising regularly, a visit is as and when required

Yes. You can name two on his behalf if you like Martin. And you can explain what they have done on your behalf too if you like. Being as Ian only told us about his friend who turns up now and again.
(I'm only asking because Ian still has not answered what his mep does that makes him proud. Obviously "representing us" is a really silly answer)

He didn't say she "made him proud". He said she "does us proud". Slightly pedantic on my part I know, but they don't mean the same thing.
