You may have noticed while watching MOTD, lots of things moving in the background, little boxes and dots moving and zooming in and out. It is to convince you that aliens are here:

They are trying to command you by using computer graphics but all they are utilizing is 'eternal figuration' via the pictorial condition of '2D shapes depict 3d objects'.
