Forest Green vs Tranmere

Post by FactualFrank » Mon May 13, 2019 7:39 pm

Forest Green did well to only lose 1-0 when they had a man sent off after just 15 minutes in the first leg.

It should be another close game. I'll root for Forest Green, purely because I used to always be them on Championship/Football Manager :D

seriously poor game played at a pedestrian pace, I've seen more competitive pre-season friendlies than that first half !

What’s with the love affair with Forest Green here? They are a poxy vegan club in a small village with a rich sugar daddy. Odd that some Burnley fans would find that model of club desirable.
I want tranmere to go through that’s for sure!

They certainly have it in for FG. 2 men sent off in 2 games.

If you'd been to the chippy in Nailsworth (where FG have their ground) you'd know why they are vegans! Enough grease to launch an armada! Worst ever. Must qualify this comment with the fact that I visited in 2006, it may have changed since then....

At the game today as match sponsor for Elixinol. Ridiculous sending off! Fantastic atmosphere. Disgusting scenes at the end when Tranmere fans invaded the pitch and a few idiots attacked a Forest Green Rovers player. Guess Mike Dean didn’t see that? Chose Joseph Mills as Man of the Match. Best player on the pitch. Spoke briefly about supporting Burnley and his time there. Nice guy although gutted tonight!
