According to press reports over here in Thailand, former Man City owner Thaksin Shinawatra is in talks to take over Palace at a reported cost of £150m - small change to him.

Al Capone would pass a Premier League / FA fit and proper test

I think there are only 2 elements to the test
Do you have/claim to have access to lots of money?
Do you have a head?

If Peter Sutcliffe dropped the top prize on the Euromillions, I’m sure he’d pass the test.

Palace have always had a mistaken sense of grandeur .

The American co-owners seem fed up with their pretend ultras and other plastic fans

The Chinese brother and sister were stopped by the Premier League from buying Hull so they went to Reading and the Football League allowed them in. The FA have no involvement.
