People.rave about JJs. All the wanabe gangsters in burnley seem.to think its cool to.go.there for a brekkie at 10am when every1s working and take.pics.of a full english

JJs for a solid cafe breakfast
Olive pot on sidewalk in town, have healthy options & full English (can eat in)
Bistro on Tod rd- not sure what days they open

Colne- wife recommends Tubs. She likes lighter stuff, eggs benedict

Personally I like JJs

Bistro 197 beats jjs hands down.

Jjs isnt bad. But bistro is far better.

Also the cafe at barden mill is decent. On a par with jjs. Albeit a smaller breakfast. But nicer spot.

Short of checking in at the Ormerod for a nights b+b no I can’t think of one off hand, oh wait a minute there is a very nice Organic cafe in the shopping centre where I had a really good nosh when I stayed at the pub at the bottom of Ormerod Road who haven’t got the facilities to do a breakfast.

Yes. Theyve built a marina there. And the cafe is pretty good. Butchers sausages and bacon. And bloke who runs it is a claret.

Nice view up there. In fact its sunny tomorrow id 100 percent go there. If its not too early can get a beer too.

Bistro197 is the best of the lot. But the one at barden mill is a very nice place.

Eadie’s Kitchen, Albert Rd, Colne. It’s where the Green Chimney used to be. Very good cafe.

When we used to regularly visit Padiham when Mum was still alive generally stayed at Burnley Premier Inn but always went to Accrington ASDA for brekkie. The children used to like it. And it was cheap.

Never had an "ok" meal never mind bad one.
Everything they do seems to be very good

Had JJs previously, also good, just not as good as the bistro.

As it happens it's not, that particular occasion has already been, but not in Burnley. The relationship is going from strength to strength with a holiday soon to be booked to the Italian Lakes, several "gigs" have been booked ranging from Australian Pink Floyd to Jools Holland to Lindisfarne and Edinburhg Tattooo and Cartmell races to name but a few.

If all those go well we are looking to Cambodia/Vietnam in the new year.

Marina is a great spot, sit out on the balcony- I’ll try the breakfast.

Had a drink and some food at crow wood on Tuesday. Nice terrace behind the cafe.

Bistro has an outside seating area around the back...making me hungry all this

Bullring on Standish Street. Excellent brekkie and very reasonably priced

I’ve just had my breakfast. Very nice it was too.

Don’t think so, they moved from bus station to near Mc ds but pretty certain they are not open now

Kingsway coffee up near the post office depot is/next to Endsleigh and Pure Gym is alright

Never been in but Starvin Marvins St James Street makes me laugh.

Get yourself down to the Barnfield training centre cafe. Head Chef Sean makes a cracking omelette.

Thank you to all contributors - elected to go to the marina on Barden Lane with it being a lovely summers morning.

We were not disappointed, a lovely brekky and a couple of cups of coffee sat out on the balcony in very pleasant and picturesque surroundings with a cracking view.

Very friendly and helpful staff and will definitely be calling again very soon.

Haven't seen it mentioned, but I thought the breakfast at the Tea Room in Worsthorne was pretty good.
