That is exactly the kind of informed and insightful transfer news we need this summer

lol was all i dared type in a corporate workshop ;)

But really, he has the profile that they would arrogantly assume befits their "size", and while being a Championship club, they are of sufficient profile that he can still walk around like he craps 2 pound coins.

Yup, that is what i figured, and they would, i'd assume, be willing/able to pay a damn sight more of his wages than the equine fetishists down the M65

£100k a week? I got told in the foundation it was £140k a week so that's the figure I'm going off. Then again if you believe some UTC posters City are paying half of it.

Strange how some many know how much Joe Hart earns, my wife applied for a credit card the other week in Sainsbury's. She came back and asked how much I earned as she had guessed when asked yet half of Burnley know Hart's wage. Amazing isn't it and the wage of other players is never really discused on UTC, just Joe Hart, weird.

I'm pretty sure that when Hart left City there was just one year left on his contract with them (around £110k per week), so they would prob have been glad to contribute half of that with us paying the other half for last season
This season any wage costs would be down to us as they have no contractual obligation to him now
Would hope we have negotiated a much lower wage for this coming season - more along the lines of that which we have been paying Crouch since Jan
