If I see Tommy Robinson it will be one more time than I’ve ever seen the Bishop of Burnley and I’ve lived her all my life.
I’ve zero desire to see Robinson but what gives the Bishop the right to speak on my behalf?

I mean, if its during the day most people of any intelligence, save for shift workers will be at work.
I always disliked the sky sports vox pops from when they wander round towns at 2pm on a tuesday and then people express surprise when the interviewees aren't all the most erudite of types

I think that is a camera thing, you seen the state of some of them who video themselves walking away from a match giving their expert opinion. Some of the BT sport ones that get retweeted are toe curling bad.

Exactly. After the trial, ensuring that the trial wouldn't be threatened by the reports. Media blackouts etc are there for a reason. But observing that doesn't suit Stephenmartin_p wrote:Who's brushing them under the carpet? They've all received significant media coverage after the trial.

He won't get anywhere near a seat in the NW region, even brexit voters are in the main repulsed by this individual.

Re: Tommy Robinson Tuesday
Burnley needs a visit from Yaxley-Lennon as much as it needed the bad publicity it received when Nick Griffin soiled us with his presence.
Burnley's image on the national stage has improved considerably in the past decade and a half, due in part to the amazing contribution of our inclusive friendly football club, and community relations are pretty good thanks to the efforts of many people, so let's hope his visit will be brief and relatively quiet.

It’s a shame they don’t show a similar distaste by young girls being abused by their white relations or priests. Why is it that the only crime the pond life seem concerned about is focused on alleged perpetrators of a different skin colour and religion. However it’s beside the point and pretending you support Robinson because he exposes criminals is a sham and an excuse. Where were all these concerned supporters when Ann Cryer (use google) was raising this 20 years ago?

In reality you won't get an answer. I've asked plenty of Tommy's supporters such as Moffit and Jakubclaret for contemporaneous evidence of what our Tommy did to combat grooming gangs and they have yet to come up with anything.

Re: Tommy Robinson Tuesday
Said it before: only thing I respect TR for is his ability to deprive an idiot of his money. Breaching his court order, knowing full well it would land him in prison was a calculated move. Probably made hundreds of thousands in donations from that alone.

Re: Tommy Robinson Tuesday
Sarah Champion and Ann Cryer were highlighting the issue of grooming gangs pointing out the high proportion of these to be from a Pakistani Muslim descent but they were accused by some of being racist.
Nazir Afzal indicated that the police were wary of prosecuting for fear of damaging community relations.
All this left a Vacuum for scumbags like Nick Griffin and now “Robinson” to exploit pointing to cover ups etc. However the Far left need the likes of Robinson to feed there agenda.
There is an issue with child abuse whether that be from a grooming gang or by a family member and both should be called out for the vile actions it is and Robinson could have been stopped in his tracks if people from the left had strongly condemned the grooming gangs rather than just saying it happens as well in white households.

What you have done is exactly the point I am making, you are moving the argument from the grooming gangs to the vile abuse committed in the Catholic Church etc. Abuse is abuse and should be condemned wherever it occurs.Spijed wrote:And yet the likes of Tommy Robinson have been strangely quiet when it comes to the thousands of priests involved in child abuse within both the Catholic church and C of E.

Robinson will never mention abuse by “white” people it as it doesn’t fit his agenda and like I said the left need the likes of Robinson to feed on.
It needs more people like Nazir Afzal who says there is an issue with grooming gangs as well as abuse in white households shouting out and this will stop Robinson in his tracks.

Damo would call that virtue-signalling.
Tommy has done more to get paedophiles set free than almost anyone else. That's what happens when you endanger trials to the point where a fair trial cannot occur, the defendants get set free. And that's why he deserves his prison time, because I think anyone who takes any deliberate action that will allow child rapists to escape justice deserve to go to prison.
It's kind of odd that so many people don't agree with that statement. It's odd that some people think that if your actions make it more significantly more likely that paedophiles will escape justice that you shouldn't be punished. And what's even more odd is that it's the people who p̶r̶e̶t̶e̶n̶d̶ purport to care about the kids that are the ones saying that people who put at risk the conviction and imprisonment of their abusers shouldn't go to prison.

Damo would also call this virtue signalling. When did it become neccesary to explicitly condemn vile, illegal actions rather than it just be a given that every right thinking person knows how bad these things are? Has our moral compass veered so far that people don't know that abusing children is a bad thing unless everyone 'condemns' it? It seems to me that 'calling these people out' has only become a thing since the discovery of asian grooming gangs.Dy1geo wrote:What you have done is exactly the point I am making, you are moving the argument from the grooming gangs to the vile abuse committed in the Catholic Church etc. Abuse is abuse and should be condemned wherever it occurs.
