Charlton v Doncaster currently playing the second leg play off semi to see who take on Sunderland at the end of this month.
If you're interested its currently ones each, Charlton winning 3-2 on aggregate.
I still fancy Sunderland to return to the Championship.

Charlton v Sunderland will be an interesting one at Wembley given their 4-4 draw there in 1998 when Sunderland fan Clive Mendonca scored a hat trick for Charlton.

I was going to try and guess who it is but there's just too many candidates to choose from judging from the refs we've had this season!

Switched to it after the cricket and saw the ref straight away. It’s Gavin Ward and he’s a poor referee.

Doncaster are running out of time if they're going to salvage anything from this seasons endeavour.

One of the last clubs I want to see rising after the nonsense that surrounded that last game against us, the 0-3 which secured the Championship.

There has been some exciting games at the end of this season so far, Liverpool, Tottenham, Derby and now Doncaster, Hoping the finals are just as exciting.

Talking of finals we will quite by accident be staying in Liverpool on the day of the European Cup Final date, so should be quite a night one way or another.

I thought it was but it’s one you can’t criticise the ref on

How has Aribo played? He’s supposedly well rated.

He’s just got a yellow card.

Not watched all the game so can’t really comment on anyone’s performance.

hardly heard him mentioned (just got booked as it happens), which tells you how he's played lol.

Not been a stand out player at all tbh but for my money Donny have been the better team

biggest problem despite there being 5 goals is neither team has a decent striker (on tonight's showing)

Donny have been the better from what I’ve seen but none of it counts for anything now.

Can’t believe the coppers have told them which end to use for penalties. Hardly likely to kick off in the stands at this match.

Not a massive fan of penalties, but when they've played a minimum of 210 minutes, i suppose you have to do something to decide a winner.

I've always thought it should be tactical, where every 5 mins the manager has to decide which player to take off

Seven brilliant pens followed by three bad ones.

Awful from Rowe from that last one.

Charlton v Sunderland again at Wembley.

It's strange how our recent promotions are still so fresh in the mind that I feel for these clubs battling to gain promotion themselves. It's amazing what gaining promotion does for a club and its supporters.
No matter what league you're being promoted from, it's that sense that its the start of something.

Charlton players, fans and staff all celebrating like they have won promotion tonight.
Also that penalty end thing seemed set up. ‘Safety reason’ my arse. I don’t think the Charlton ground safety officer should have more authority over a football game then the ref, shocking really. After that and after the way Charlton have celebrated like they have won the champions league I wouldn’t be too fussed if they now lost at Wembley.

I saw it happen at a Rotherham v Burnley game years ago in the Autowindscreen and I’ve been told tonight that the police dictated which end the pens were taken last season against Leeds.

Agree. If 210 minutes can't decide it then they could go back to the head to head record of the teams in the league encounters, and if that's level then the final league position.
Yes, I know that that gives an advantage to the team that finishes higher in the league, but so what, it ensures that every point in the league is important, and in this case Charlton did end up 15 points clear of Donny, so Donny could have no real complaint.
