Re: YES! Farage Milkshaked
The Uk has seen some big summer crazes in its time like Top Trumps, Rubiks Cube, Tamagotchi, Pokémon etc but this years summer craze of throwing Milkshakes over fascist scumbags is the best ever.
As an added bonus getting to see the numpties on here wet themselves and get all virtuous for the first times in their lives is the icing on the cake. I can see the entertainment has already started on this thread so carry on babies

Re: YES! Farage Milkshaked
As someone who tends to stay away from political threads, despite being quite politically astute, threads like this do make me giggle. People come out highlighting this as if it is acceptable for Nigel Farage to have milkshake thrown over him. I don't need to ask what the same people would think/say had a member of the Green Party campaigning for a second referendum suffered the same treatment.
It isn't acceptable to throw any object/liquid/substance over someone because you disagree with them and their politics. Some people really need to grow up and stop behaving and acting like children. It is childish beyond belief.

That is the thing I don't get, if this bearded weirdo felt so strongly about someone and found himself face to face with him why not punch Farage, you look a bit weak flicking a milkshake at someone with a limp wrist.

Re: YES! Farage Milkshaked
Farage is big enough to take care of himself. As for Sargon of Akkad (snigger...), I really don't understand why he's still at liberty to suffer this indignity. Tommy Robinson? He can't be surprised that he engenders this level of feeling.
It's a slippery slope - that's all I'd say (particularly if there's lot of milkshake on the ground). But I'm not an absolutist, so people have to make up their own minds bearing in mind that there will be a reasonable number of their political opponents who don't see much granularity at each step between Robinson > Sargon (snigger again...) > Farage > Rees-Mogg > Raab > Gove > May. Once you're OK with one being milkshaked, it's harder to argue with similar action against the next one.
This sort of thing, in my opinion, does nothing to deprive Farage of votes. I can't see who is persuaded that it's a bad idea to vote for him because of it. I can conceive that people are either bolstered in their support of him or, in smaller numbers, tipped off the fence into his camp.

32 year-old Paul Crowther boasted on Facebook how he was walking with a milkshake back to his office – he currently works as a ‘Customer Service Representative’ at Sky – when he bumped into the Brexit Party march. He’s a Labour Party supporter and a big sharer of Remainer content on Facebook. He also shared a tweet last week calling Theresa May a “wretched little bitch”.
During working hours..... I'm sure someone will help him with his job hunting next week.

Not sure why anybody thinks this new craze of throwing stuff at politicians or people in the public spotlight is either funny or in any way acceptable.
Where does it stop? Do we wait for it to escalate and for someone to get seriously hurt by whatever is thrown at them or do we wait for one of those attacked to react and hurt someone by lashing out?
It's all a bit pathetic.
