It's all over the media who he is and if you check his social media he is definitely "on the left". That said, his public views are a million miles from the most rabid loons on the left - but it looks like he (as he did today) gets a bit carried away sometimes...Rileybobs wrote:How do you know the ‘milkshaker’ is on the left?

I don't agree with Farage at all, but it's symptomatic of the left's insistence on silencing any opposition "by any means possible".
If he IS as bad they claim, surely it's better to allow Farage to discredit himself through his words than make him a martyr and trying to silence him?

Re: YES! Farage Milkshaked
Farage is a twonk but not comfortable with some of the rejoicing over this. OK, it's a milkshake being chucked over an irritating racist which should be funny. But in the run up to an election, with the background of real and written threats to politicians of all persuasions, I think this is actually a worrying trend.

I bought two books in that very Waterstones the day after Burnley played in Newcastle this season. Other than that there didn't seem much to see there except some rather roly poly chubby guy seeking a bit of short lived publicity/notoriety. (Which actually does his "cause", if indeed he has one, far more harm than good imo.)

The suggestion there seems to be that he physically hit him. Whether or not that's the same as throwing a milkshake over someone I don't know.Caballo wrote:https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-47691606
Aside from that though you'd think that he'd have thought twice about doing that in the exact same place that a right wing terrorist murdered someone pretty recently.

You know what, I have a pile of unread novels which I'm slowly working my way through, but the trouble is as fast as I take one off it, I tend to browse Waterstones somewhere or other and add two more!! One was definitely "The Museum of Extraordinary Things", but I'm not certain now which the other one was. I'm absolutely sure I ain't read 'em yet though!!MrTopTier wrote:What were the two books Darkcloud?

Re: YES! Farage Milkshaked
It'll be the same offence but the actuality of a lobbed milkshake from a few feet is clearly less violent than an egg cracked directly on the forehead. Of course, neither Corbyn nor Farage knew what the intent or projectile was as it was happening which is the real problem.aggi wrote:The suggestion there seems to be that he physically hit him. If electing the Brexit party stops vermin like these entering our shores then a lot of people would take the short-term financial disruption. However the left though think more about these people being able to move freely around Europe.

Yep if the guy today would have hit him with a milkskake in his hand drenching him rather than just chucking the milkshake at him it would have rightly been considered a more serious crime.aggi wrote:The suggestion there seems to be that he physically hit him. Yep Gammon. A smug, nonsensical term made up and tossed around with gay abandon (much like the word racist) by lefty sandal wearers for anyone being white, middle aged and daring to have a political view even slightly right of their deluded marxist views. Seriously..this country is f***ed if someone throwing a milkshake over Farage (or any politician) is classed as amusement and fitting. Certainly takes them off their supposed moral high ground they like to think they have. Farage will be loving the attention. Just proves how desperate and thick the left are getting.theroyaldyche wrote:Gammon?
