Ribery and Robben
Not seen much on here about it. Both left Bayern after their game on saturday. Two absolute legends of the bundesliga. Ribery possibly the leagues best ever player. 9 league titles. Robben leaves on 99 goals and one title behind him. Together probably the most exciting wingers a team has had at one time.
Ribery going to continue playing, Robben likely to retire.
But for Ronaldo and Messi, these would have been remembered as two of the best of all time. Hard to think of any more consistently dangerous wingers.
Both came off the bench at the weekend to score and help win the title on the last day.

Re: Ribery and Robben
Fantastic players and I hadn’t realised just how long both of them had been at Bayern.

Seems like two minutes ago Robben was at Chelsea. Forgetting he then went onto Real Madrid.ClaretTony wrote:Fantastic players and I hadn’t realised just how long both of them had been at Bayern.
Top player. At one point looked like he was going to be plagued with injuries.

So did I. He accidentally dropped his fuel receipt and fell over as it brushed his foot. The physio was sent on, and five minutes later he was away.cricketfieldclarets wrote:I did see Ribery at Texaco on Padiham Road filling up yesterday.
Re: Ribery and Robben
Robben would be useless because according to some on here one-footed players will never be a success in the game!

Robben was so good he did the same thing over and over and over and over yet nobody got near him when he was on it
