Hatton Garden Query.
Been watching this crime drama on ITV over last couple of nights. When the bloke (presumably the owner) calls in with his Mum to check on the premises & notices the back door open, he also triggers the alarm which goes off. The night before the old Lags had disabled the alarm within 60 seconds which prompted the alarm company to call off the security guard saying to him "no further action required ". Surely they wouldn't, have re-enabled the alarm would they ?? Or as is likely have I missed something??.

As grumps says he was in the building next door.
The gated alley was the access to his premises and the back door to the the vault

Re: Hatton Garden Query.
To trigger an alarm to the police you have to set off more than one device e.g the door contact and a detector which they did. Once that is done the alarm resets itself so if further devices are activated it will continue to send alarms to the police. Or it used to unless the rules have changed in the past few years.middleton claret wrote:Been watching this crime drama on ITV over last couple of nights. Think the acting is excellent. Not sure what makes you think it isn’t.

Mark McManus was Jim Taggart. Alex Norton came in the series after McManus passed away.

To say it was a pretty difficult job to pull off and took a lot of planning they all come across as thick as f**k.
