West Ham for me, absolute 2-0 battering, 5 wouldn't of flattered us, and was a perfect response to Everton just a few days before. Set the tone for our run in too

Seen as the Everton game is missing off the list then it has to be Spurs

Has to be Spurs surely given the quality of opposition?

Agree with that, just felt the West Ham performance was bigger because of the situation we were in, was unexpected also considering the 19 games that had come before it.ClaretTony wrote:My vote goes for Spurs, for me our best ever performance in the Premier League
As for Bournemouth, I actually thought 4-0 flattered us

It was the goals we conceded in that game that persuaded me not to include itclaretonthecoast1882 wrote:Seen as the Everton game is missing off the list

Spurs by a mile, we beat the Champions League finalists !
Re: Vote for our best home performance of the 2018/19 season
The Wolves game, the way we handled the pressure and the relief when Dwight scored just tips it for me.

West Ham by far quality wise. We got at them from the first minute and turned the season round.
Spurs were the best team we beat but not the best performance.

Same here. For me that was the first time where we have played one of the ‘top 4’ and thoroughly deserved the win.ClaretTony wrote:My vote goes for Spurs, for me our best ever performance in the Premier League
We have beaten other big sides but often through a very narrow margin and involving a bit of luck.
I thought in this game we were very clearly the better side and looked very bit a premier league side!

I agree with most, Spurs was a terrific result but performance wise it has to be West Ham, we played some lovely football that day, we outplayed and outclassed the Hammers in every department and it would have been a few more goals but for their keeper pulling of some great saves.

Whilst you may have made a good choice, such an early intervention, could affect the outcome of your poll.ClaretTony wrote:My vote goes for Spurs, for me our best ever performance in the Premier League

To turn Fulham round as clinically as we did was pivotal for me.

Re: Vote for our best home performance of the 2018/19 season
Spurs was the best we've played in the Prem.
The West Ham game was really important to us, and Bardsley came to the fore in that one, but they certainly know how to 'throw one in' on the road do West Ham. I remember in the build up to Spurs they were talking about how the title was actually still in their hands at that point, they'd won loads of games and Kane was back.

Spurs game.
Don't forget, when they rolled up they were still in with an outside chance shout of the title!
The best, most complete all round league performance against a top, top side in many years.
No sheep pen required.

Yes Tony. You usually leave your player ratings, until some time after the posting of the thread. Hence, the comment.

I think if you look back at the player ratings threads you will find mine usually near the top. Now who is it who usually comes in late, oh yes, IanMcL - so can you stop posting such b0ll0cks please. And your earlier post on this thread was just plain stupid.IanMcL wrote:Yes Tony. You usually leave your player ratings, until some time after the posting of the thread. Hence, the comment.

Agreed. Even when they equalised and there was potential for them to go on and win it I wasn’t overly disappointed because of how well we’d played.ClaretTony wrote:My vote goes for Spurs, for me our best ever performance in the Premier League

Oh and the fact that I often have to drive the 235 miles home, does impact, when I am able to post, sometimes!
