Fabian Delph
Fabian Delph
Available for £15m according to the Sun. Still only 29. Good player if he can stay fit.

Re: Fabian Delph
No not having a player that suggests upper class twonk and dogging on the team sheet

Re: Fabian Delph
Could get in the first 11 at RB, LB, CM & RM. If he came (he wont) he'd be a lot better version of Hendrick either replacing Cork or Westwood in the centre or playing the narrow right midfield roll Hendrick finished the season at

We could get Milner as well. Delph, Lennon, Taylor all from our feeder club.

Re: Fabian Delph
£15-£16 million must be the going rate for 29 year old players this summer
Re: Fabian Delph
Would be a big improvement on Cork
But wait till Defour has a full pre-season

Re: Fabian Delph
Just what we need in midfield, but I cant see him accepting our wage structure and I'd be amazed if there isnt clubs happy to pay him what he wants.

Does seem too that when it is a player someone wants the age is irrelevant, when it is a player they don't want of the same age his age and sell on value is dragged into it.

Re: Fabian Delph
Would improve the squad of every other club on the league bar possibly Liverpool, and his wage demands will reflect it.
Anyone thinking he's remotely in our league is kidding themselves.

Where is your ambition ?
15m and 80k a week for 3 years is peanuts compared to what we spent on Wells

I thought this was a thread about pottery.
Re: Fabian Delph
It is
Antiques Roadshow
We have plenty of them in our squad and space left for Crouch

Re: Fabian Delph
Typical scenario, Burnley let his agent know we're interested and what wages we can offer.
Agent spends the summer inquiring who else is interested and what they're willing to pay.
If somewhere else is willing to pay more he'll talk to them. If no one else has shown an interest or is in the same ball park wages wise, we may find ourselves in negotiations about a contract.
If we are interested, we'll either be the best offer on the table or not.
Best offer can mean wages and/or premier league football.
Good luck to SD and his team trying to improve on the now and find the future in this market.

Re: Fabian Delph
Last thing we need is another injury prone centre mid to join Defour in the treatment room.
