So wrong he scored a few almost identical goals. I particularly remember one at Burnden Park, a match we won.
Good shout though.

Spanking the winner from about 600 yards in the Edge End v Primet Pendle Schools cup final (3rd year) in 1986.

Some fantastic memories on this thread and all the classics seem to have been mentioned. The two at Reading, Ings at Ewood, Keane at Brighton, Barnes v Palace prob the ones I remember going particularly mental over. Hard to completely lose it for a goal in the first half I think as it’s never decisive. I ended up jumping up and down on the JHL pitch-surrounding wall for Barnes’ goal and Im 58 and sit in Row K !!!

The Wade goal I can’t actually remember - the adrenaline rush took over everything’s i could feel.

The Keane goal vs Boro was just an accumulated explosion of emotion in the stands which had been slowly building right up to the goal from the stands and was spine tingling.
Was a few belters in paper from that day! You are probably on front row at this point!

Hahaha, I just remember rolling and rolling down the netting over the seats and ending up nowhere near my starting point. Was like something off Crystal Maze of Ninja Warrior trying to crawl back.

One I haven’t seen mentioned yet is Kightly against Blackpool. Felt like we were pretty much up after that game.

Cracking goal to boot.

Lots of great goals there, all bring back some good memories. One that I remember well was Bartons free kick at Deepdale. I was up at the back of the stand with my 8 year old grandson. When the kick was awarded I said I'm taking my glasses off 'cause this is going in and all hell is going to break loose, I was right on both counts. He'd never seen anything like it before with lads going arse over tit down the aisles and being flattened by the people behind him.

Weirdly, when I think of goals I've celebrated the most, I still remember Gareth Taylor's goal against Coventry in the last game of the 01/02 season when we had to win by two goals to make the play offs. I still imagine the celebration if one of Gazza's late free kicks had gone in.

Hyde at Ewood is the other maln one. We were a solid team that season but we hardly scored. The only striker at the club was 'one in three' (one in six) Ian Moore so once we went 1-0 down, away from home, to a Premier League team, I thought that was that. Suddenly, our midfielder not known for his goal scoring, lobs one of the Premier League's best keepers from outside the box!

Frank Casper against Chelsea first home game back in Division 1 , 73 , although that might have more to do with the fact I was 13 :)

Plenty to choose from, but for a game I was actually at, Andre Gray vs Palace. Secured PL safety for the first time at the third attempt.

The second one, presumably!

I'd probably pick Chris eagles at Coventry. Went through different emotions with that in a few seconds, starting with a ffs as it was heading our way miles from the net before starting to curl.......

Sam vokes v Belgium in the euro quarter final.
