You get used to the level of football you regularly watch so this looks dire.
For those of you too young to remember, we were worse than this for a few years in the 1980s.
It really has been awful.

I once remember getting attacked in a pub in Birkenhead back in the 80s and one of our lads getting glassed. I bear no grudges it was like that back then, you had to be street wise when you travelled away
