Sunderland vs Charlton
I'll go for 1-0 to Sunderland.

I will go 4 - 4 like 21 years ago.

I’m hoping for a draw after 90mins as I’ve done a treble for draws in all the play-offs

As long as its better than that turgid display yesterday and a few goals, I'll be happy.
2-1 Sunderland.
2-1 Sunderland.

0-0 or 1 goal either way. Sunderland have been very strong defensively recently.

Re: Sunderland vs Charlton
Sunderland were the more impressive side defensively in the last round of the play-offs, Charlton were extremely lucky to get to the final. Both games this season were close, 2-1 home win for Sunderland and a 1-1 draw at the Valley. Everything points to a Sunderland win so for that reason i'll go Charlton !
Re: Sunderland vs Charlton
Charlton for me ... as has been said before a great memory of winning the Championship title there, and some fantastic fans congratulating us even though they had been relegated.......
Although Sunderland were the team my Grandfather followed (albeit over 50 years ago since he died, I was only 9) I feel no affinity to them whatsoever.
2-1 Charlton aet

Re: Sunderland vs Charlton
Well the pundits and comms clearly want Charlton to win. But there's no such thing as deserving to go up - until you win.

the quality on display in comparison to the League 2 play-off yesterday is stark !!
edit: other than the own goal, that was Sunday League !!

Re: Sunderland vs Charlton
Playing in the Football league trophy final at Wembley a few weeks ago has probably helped Sunderland massively. Means their used to the stadium and a bit less overawed than they might have been.

Re: Sunderland vs Charlton
Bowyer right to be upset. Two clear yellows Sunderland should have had and they had Sarr booked for an identical situation so he subbed him at HT.

No need for Williams to roll over 17 times. Should be booked for that.
