Smit would take some beating as a club professional for a complete season
Was brilliant for Ramsbottom but left to play County Cricket for Derbyshire

I agree and it's difficult to believe that Derbyshire signed him as a keeper

Yep, next 7 or 8 games or so I'm told and with the title race so wide open this year that may prove pivotal. The original pro chucking a sicky and not turning up may prove a blessing in disguise!!!

Walsden beat Ramsbottom by 6 wickets in a 35 over game
Burnley favourites for League if they have Smit for several matches or Walsden again
Ramsbottom bowlers not good enough now
Batting also fragile

Smitt must be a good cricketer sounds like a one man showagainst lowerhouse carnt be good for the Lancashire league when a cricketer turns up his proper job is a wicket keeper how can he collect all them wickets and score all the runs me thinks a lot off clubs will be after him for next season we atcolne are more than happy with mr price so count us out
