What does biggest to smallest mean ? Club traditionally, honours, fans, ground size, income stream ?

Historically we're certainly bigger than Watford, Norwich and Brighton. Southampton and palace too probably. Realistically in the modern game any of the bottom 8 in your list could argue they are bigger or smaller than the next. The rest are too far out in front, at the moment.

There's 6 teams that you've ranked above us that have never won the football league... We've won it twice

I don’t care what the criteria is, there’s no way the City are bigger than Liverpool

Great thread and I would say the criteria for being a big club should be

1 Years spent as a football league club
2 League titles won in a decade when England were World Cup winners
3 Largest % of fans per head of population

Based on a combination of
Fan base
Revenue
History (years and position in top division and trophies won in say last 50 or 60 years) i’d say Vegas has it about right....maybe debate a couple of the positions near the bottom like Southampton above Wolves possibly but think the top ten or so are correct.
There’s a few clubs not in the Premier League that would be above Burnley.

What's going on? Can't see any criticism of Burnley in that post! ;)

Leicester have won more cups than us and been in quite a lot more finals.
Bigger fan base and stadium (bigger population).
Like Burnley both had good teams in the 60s.

As a guide, I would suggest putting European Cup winners at the top, then League Champions, then others. Within each category you can put them in order of consistency/longevity, money, cup wins and near misses, and fanbase. And then tweak round the edges.

This gives me:

1. Man United
2. Liverpool
3. Arsenal
4. Aston Villa
5. Tottenham
6. Man City
7. Chelsea
8. Everton
9. Newcastle
10. Wolves
11. Sheffield United
12. Burnley
13. Leicester
14. West Ham
15-20. The other 6, who are all too close to call - at least, I can't be bothered calling them.

I almost put Arsenal above Villa because of all the league titles. Chelsea got relegated to 5th because until the Abramavich money, they have little history and were never a truly big club.

Following your criteria:
Where are R#vers on your list..?
Newcastle 9th?

Or am I completely missing the point. If so, apologies, it's been a long bank holiday
