S8 and most certainly the s9. The s9 is one of the best phones for your money there is.

Even the new A40/A50 Samsungs do a job

Huawei? From what I've seen pretty expensive. Is the whole problem with Google and the US government anything to do with (just maybe) a non-American company coming up with something decent and Apple's no-doubt considerable lobbying power in the states? Apple's dominance of the mobile market has been balked to an extent by Samsung and I can imagine them getting seriously p!ssed off if yet another company came along to rival them, after all if there is competition there is less chance to continually rip people off.

You should try being more forceful Steve but be wary, I tried it and got it wrong a few years ago. The surgery was long and painful and I still get severe pain in my groin.
