He was pretty good for Leeds too in a second half when we began 2-0 up

About the same age when he came to us as Jimmy Dunne was this season. Its no wonder Dyche is reluctant to throw kids into the team when we have supporters who are quick and happy to jump on a kids back if they aren't keen on him and he is struggling.
Im sure he's a nice lad just not up to our standards at the time but he's had a half decent career in the Scottish Premier League so good luck and best wishes to an ex-Claret

Re: ARTICLE: Easton goes home
Yup saying someone was poor 7 years after he left is exactly why a different manager won't pick players of that age.
You are taking stupidity to a new level, but then that is what you do.

We nick named him "The Wall", because he had the first touch of one.

Re: ARTICLE: Easton goes home
Nope the other person on this thread used to openly criticise players like Easton, Eagles, Edgar, MacDonald,Jensen when they played for us. A bit of a contrast to his view on posters who criticise current players.
The Dyche reference was that Dyche did have a go at our fans for getting on a young players back and used it as an example of how it was hard for him to blood young players. Again the other poster on this thread was in full support of Dyche (and rightly so) yet when it was a manager and players he didn't like he had a very different stance

Re: ARTICLE: Easton goes home
Went to Rangers ST Johnstone a few years back. And a player stood out that day at left back. Was pretty solid and not that bad going forwards. Turned out it was Easton when they changed ends and he was in front of where I was sat. Remarkable how you can see a game when you have no biases. Granted it was only SPL level but still. He had a good game.
Was always funny when people thought he was better than Fox. But at the same time was nowhere near as bad as some made out.

Leeds is often held up as poor Easton’s nadir for us, but only I assume by those who didn’t see him away at Barnsley.
