Don’t think this one will last too long. Pakistan batting and are 81/8 from 18.3 overs

Pakistan all out for 105. Not very good really.

When I looked at the betting odds on this game at c 09.00, both teams were 10/11; WI went slight favourites with winning the toss and sticking Pakistan in.

As soon as Imam Ul Haq was out so early, I thought Pakistan would struggle a bit but, blimey, they've self-destructed since then (for all W I have bowled well to a plan that's working).
You cant take things for granted but WI could well knock these off in 15 overs or so..

This West Indies side has some real talent.

Pace bowlers in abundance. Not bad at batting either.

The 18/1 was massive for them to win it.

They might just lack the consistency to win this world cup as it goes on quite long, but they could certainly beat every side in the competition on their day.

West Indies could be a real threat if they get on a roll.

West Indies are definitely going to start with a big win. Just need 70 now from 45 overs.

Turned it on after my lunch to see where it was at, the players were on their way off and shaking the hands of the Pakistanis. Couldn't believe it was game over!

Slightly disappointing start to the tournament, fairly comfortable wins for England and the Windies, hopefully NZ-Sri Lanka will provide a more even contest.
