Time for some Miller

Post by Millertime v1.7 » Sat Jun 01, 2019 9:29 pm

Pre season boredom hitting me hard, lads :| decided to take a little time out for clarets next weekafter what has been a hard season for you and you didn't fulfil any of the previous seasons optimism. Some would say you found your level. I'll try to alleviate the disappointment over the course of next week with some witty anecdotes, taking questions and offering advice. Never mind that champions league finals, it doesn't concern us. Starting tonight... its Millertime. 8-)

Millertime v1.7, staying in the best league in the world fullfulls our seasons optimism, keeping a check on Morags whereabouts should be your main concern, you know what she's like on a Saturday night.

Was it Morag that ran on the pitch in the final?

Morag's a free independent woman now, just like she was before two rogues tried to hitch a ride on her coat tails. I walked past the cafe week before last and looked in the window, i'm happy for her she's back to NORMAL, serving bacon butties and square sausage rolls just as god intended. The music in the café is 'This is a mans world', the lyrics symbolize her strength. I really wanted to go in and talk to her, she has no idea how instrumental in her new found freedom. It was my warnings to tup and rumpus on this forum that made them backdown. Lads listen, I don't want to take any of the spotlight from a local business owner so I just walked on by like sometimes the hero does at the end of a film. She's master of her own destiny now.

Ahem, speaking of music, listening to a lot of PJ Harvey at the moment, particularly her score for The Virtues, check out the track the track 'The Crowded Cell' from the end credits. Probably not the best track to play to Mario to send him off to sleep but it's doing the trick 'said one tired father/lover to another' haha

Aclaret, when survival becomes the priority it has a habit of draining ambition. We have teams like this in our league and they are bottom feeders happy to scrape by living hand to mouth. I'm talking about Hamilton, St Mirren, Dundee and the likes. A team like Kilmarnock were like that not so long ago.. But they found inspiration from a man who gave them strength. And that shows you should never settle for second best. As Soloman Thorpe says in 12 Years a Slave 'I don't want to survive, I want to live'

Do you think Rotherham have it in them to bounce back next season?
