Clarets on The Big Match Revisited.

Post by Tricky Trevor » Wed Jun 05, 2019 6:20 pm

BT Sport2 at 7pm
30-11-74. Luton Town A
What a team we had back then.

For those late home we are showing as last on. Some things never change.

Remember that game well. We were a good team but it was the very last season, we were relegated the following season and it was downhill all the way for the rest of that decade.

W1-D4-L5 after 1st March. What a season it should have been and the decline carried over as you’ve posted above.

Played really well that day at Luton. Think we were behind and came back to win 3-2. Not sure why but I was sat in the main stand that day just behind a certain Mr Morecambe. He got to his seat, sat down and then turned round and shifted his glasses. It doesn’t seem funny now but he left me helpless.

It's on again in a few minutes on BT if someone missed it. Can't find it on catch-up so will be watching it now. Need to be a BT subscriber or know someone unless you find a illegal stream.
