Need to keep hold of Heaton and McNeill. Other than that, one new decent midfielder and I'd be very happy

Tom Heaton has today left the Clarets to signal the end of an era at Turf Moor. The club captain has completed a move to Aston Villa after joining the newly-promoted Premier League club for an undisclosed fee.

6/10, average, done just enough, still lacking some pace/x-factor.

Arsenal 2 - 1 Burnley

There’s no stopping Ashley Barnes but another goal from the in-form striker wasn’t enough for the Clarets to finally get some reward at the Emirates Stadium.

Burnley were cruelly denied a hard-fought victory as a contentious 95th minute penalty salvaged a point for thankful Wolves.

Sean Dyche has confirmed today that Danny Drinkwater’s injury is not too serious and that he’ll be out for a couple of weeks before he can rejoin the squad in full training. The pair have met this week and Dyche has clearly decided to draw a line under the whole thing since that meeting and told the player to get fit and get on with things at Burnley.
