Is anyone else not really fussed about this game?

World cup / European championship Semi-finals I would be excited / nervous and probably off to the pub to watch it. As it is, tonight I'll likely have it on in the background on my phone or something whilst just giving it the odd glance to see how we are doing.

Ridiculous that a tournament EUFA has been pushing is scheduled 4 days after the CL final.
Our reserves will still give them a game.

Heaton being given number 23 shows that he is 3rd choice. Really don’t get the love affair England has with Butland, he’s crap.

He could be superstitious and turned down 13.

3-1 Holland, whilst I know footy isn't played on paper our midfield 3 doesn't particularly inspire me so I only see a comfortable win for the Dutch - on the plus side I'm wrong 99% of the time with predictions !

Midfield is absolutely nothing without Kane there to drop deep. Crying out for Maddison - zero technical ability.

I disagree, it's Henderson who you can tell is missing.

Tbh both are missing. Imagine playing Delph in a competitive fixture.

Chilwell has been out of position since the kick off, been dreadful defensively

Dumfries should have been booked 3 challenges ago. Should be a foul away from a red.

De Ligt has genuinely been England’s best player. Conceded the penalty then missed a free header.

Missing Henderson big time. Delph and particularly Roce have been anonymous. Chilwell and Maguire have also been dreadful.

We’re a massive threat up top though, the Dutch need to come at us in the second half and we need to find a way of getting our forwards into the game.

Maguire an Chilwell are trying to play out but have no options, Stones an Walker have been the weakest two.
Delph is static and not good enough.

I'd bring Henderson on for the second half. I'd keep Barkley on though he's been decent.

they aren't taking too long on the ball, they are looking for Kane and he is on the bench, that means instead of sticking it up to him they are having to try and play through a midfield that other than Barkley has been non existent. We need an awful lot more from the front 3 too. I'd expect Kane to be on sharpish tbh

The problem was nothing about the front 3 though so I doubt he'd have taken any of them off yet. Henderson on for Delph looked more obvious.

not disagreeing about the midfield (it's been even worse this half) but not having Kane was a huge issue

Kane needs to be a bit more subtle if he continues fouling at every challenge.
