So he should be knitting instead of wasting his time talking to “PJ”?

How will he find time to do his job?

Cheers for that.
I know for a fact that Jagielka has agreed to bring his own shower gel and shampoo and he’s paying £10 a week to train with us.
Surely this is a win/win scenario.

Why can't you believe the complacency of some posters then? Maybe it's not complacency, perhaps it's faith in the management and their methods that have got us to the position where we're about to start our fourth successive season in the Premier League.

Scottish Sun.
Norwich goalie Jon McCracken, Scotland U19 keeper, has been given the chance to win a contract at Burnley.

Sheff Utd fans I work with say there are rumours they are about to break their transfer record and it's either Neal Maupay or Charlie Austin.

Also close to wrapping up a deal for Scott Sinclair.

I read that link above earlier, but cannot see us getting him if the likes of Southampton and Arsenal are in anyway interested.

Cannot see Arsenal’s interest being any more than just that personally. As for Southampton, they are stacked in terms of attackers - but if I were them I’d still try and get it done to keep him out of our hands. They need to shift some on though - Austin and Elyonoussi seem to be surplus right now.

Bowen would be a great signing for us, due to his versatility as he can play and score just as effectively from wide areas as through the middle.

Him and McNeil either side of Barnes and Wood would be exciting to me. No guarantees that he would make it at this level, but he is exactly the 'type' I would be hoping we are trying for.

Bowen really does sound like a Dyche/Burnley type player.

Is there any suggestion that we're even interested in Bowen? With JBG, Lennon and Hendrick we're fairly well covered on the right, unless he can play as a second striker.

A slow start but a few better links there, Bowen fits the bill, Dyche loves an inverted winger! Semedo link looks interesting, anyone seen him play?

What exactly is the issue with Jagielka training with us? Care to enlighten me?
That’s exactly what he meant. There was never any intention of signing Jagielka and there are no plans to sign David Jones either. Just a case of Dyche offering two players he knows well some training.

Really love that profile, just what we’ve been missing. Sangare from Toulouse is very similar in that sense, sadly can’t see either happening

In what world is he a £25m player, according to the other link.

Going off that highlight reel, he doesn't look to be especially quick ( although his long legs carry him ), he doesn't seem to be particularly strong and he doesn't come across as calm and calculating in his passing duties. In fact everything he does seems to be a bit maniacal and last ditch.

He definitely doesn't come across as a cultured and dependable midfield presence.

I could easily be wrong, but I think the Championship would chew him up and spit him out at this stage. He might make a good central defender, given a lot of time and work.

Thankfully the speculative article only mentions a loan. I will stick with Kemen for a cheap ( free transfer ) punt.

Not got enough band width to watch it, but my thoughts are how does he get from being linked with a move to Wigan, to being worth £25M; how were Wigan going to afford to spend that?

Jay Rod.

Release clause activated.

Does not mean we won't get competition for his signature.

Source - no link, but a teammate of his I know.

Some will moan (age, same target as ever etc) but I think he would be a really good signing, especially at the rumoured price.

I hope you’re right.

If we sign Jay hopefully this will confirm the release of Crouchy, I’d still hope that we are in for another younger striker also, one who possesses a bit of speed to give us different options preferably.

What’s this about JBG leaving? I’d rather Lennon leave if any of them do, JBG is a fantastic player.

There's probably a tenuous link to a right side midfield players on an unreliable click bait website. Utc poster puts 2+2 together and gets 11. It's how we roll on here.

On sky sports team transfers in and out I'm sure it had Crouch down as 'retirement'
