That article says that might lose Tarks and Gibson. What if both get their can talk to clauses met? Cahill more likely to go to CP than us ?Steddyman wrote:Crystal Palace now also in for Cahill. We must be there scouting network.

I really hope we don't allow both Tarks AND Gibson to go,whatever money we're offered and whether Cahill signs or not.
On another note, this Florian guy would be a great signing, but surely out of our bracket.

I’m no expert, but publicly disclosing info re clients and appointments at your work place can’t be a good idea?

Nowhere does he say he is signing for Burnley, just that he is at Manchester Institute tomorrow, that could be any of a number of clubs.agreenwood wrote:I’m no expert, but publicly disclosing info re clients and appointments at your work place can’t be a good idea?
If he is coming to us however, I can't imagine our recruitment team being very happy at sensitive / confidential info being leaked on twitter. Burnley deliberately do their business as Q as possible to keep other clubs from coming in and pipping us with a better offer.

What's that smell??!
Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS (MUST CONTAIN LINK)
I hope its true as he ticks all the boxes, sadly I smell a rat and can't ask any questions to see if it's true until Monday.
Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS (MUST CONTAIN LINK)
I wouldn't think Burnley FC, or bosses at Manchester Institute will be pleased that information about a possible signing having a medical today, is being announced by a member of staff, before it's actually taken place.
Not only that, it could alert another interested club, to try and step in with better terms and scupper our chances.

Current Germany U21 international. Rumours earlier on last season of a move to Bayern. No chance he’ll be coming to us.

Never mind our recruitment team, his bosses wont be too happy that he is “leaking” that type of info. No doubt if he is privy to such info that he would have signed a confidentiality agreement on employment and if that is the case I can’t see him being privy to such info for much longer

This Florian Neuhaus link seems way above our station. He just doesn't feel like a Burnley signing, way too good for what we're used to!
I would be absolutely bloody delighted if it happens though!!

Gibson just tweeted this.
Am I reading too much into it by thinking he might be covering his tracks about being spotted at the Riverside to avoid speculation? Or could he simply just mean he'll be watcing on TV?

2. Boro couldn't afford to buy Gibson back
3. Gibson is better than Championship football
4. Burnley wont allow Gibson to leave on loan
......points 2-4 are purely in my opinion, obviously.

If Vydra goes we need another forward to replace him. It's too late in the day for all of this.
