So at what time will Boden post the "been told to stand down" line on his twitter and the meltdown begin...or continue as is?

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS (MUST CONTAIN LINK)
Why are we letting Aaron Mooy get signed by Brighton
We should have been in for him on day one of this window instead of our usual dithering and last minute panics. That how we got Juke and Sordell.
Rigg was supposed to be a deal broker or was I confused as to his role at BFC

Spurs deals look to be falling through. Their fans must be melting down as we speak.
Fingers crossed on Drinkwater. Would be a great signing!

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS (MUST CONTAIN LINK)
I was one of Taylor's biggest supporters on here and got into one or two unfortunate spats on here with people, who I felt, were unfairly criticising him.nil_desperandum wrote:It's all about opinions, but I think that if you look back on this board you'll find that up until the New Year a large number of posters didn't think that Taylor was good enough. He was a part of a shambolic defence and had been personally culpable for quite a number of goals conceded. His left- sided partnership with Mee simply wasn't working.
I'll grant you that he was outstanding in the final third of the season, but Westwood had an excellent season overall.
No one will argue about McNeil, but we're taking about player of the season and he only started 21 games. I think Westwood only missed 4 and we terrible in those games, (e.g. Newcastle away)

Re Aaron Mooy. There’s no point getting someone who is not better than what we already have. I’m not convinced about him. Mainstay of a team that looked decent on the eye but created the square root of nothing all season. Drinkwater is different gravy as he is better than what we have.
There’s a reason one is the mainstay of a club finishing the bottom of the table and the other is a premier league winning mainstay....

It’s great watching Brighton and Newcastle panic buy with unproven players whilst we sit there calmly knowing we have more than enough. Just keep calm and have faith in the ginger genius.
Wouldn’t surprise me to see Brighton, Bournemouth and Newcastle disappearing into the Championship whilst the 3 promoted clubs do ok.

Mooy is not garbage. He was probably the best player in a very poor team last season. But he is no better than Cork or Westwood so agree about us not signing him.Braindead wrote:Why is it shocking?

I really don't understand why Huddersfield would want to loan out one of their best players. I can understand them selling him if he was in demand and the money was right but a loan deal seems a bit daft to me.

Daily mail:
"Stoke City are willing to let Benik Afobe leave the club if offers come in. The 26-year-old was a £12m signing from Wolves last summer and scored nine goals in 49 appearances.
Midfielder Badou N'Diaye also has late interest from Premier League clubs"
I'm only posting it because of the last line - we seem to be best mates with Stoke so you never know

So you think we've got more than enough to stay up as it stands? I disagree and think without improving that midfield, we will struggle to survive. So bascicslly those who decided to slag me off re Mooy are entitled to their views and I am not.
Drinkwater has hardly played in two years and I dont get the obsession in signing him.
There have been players linked all this window who may have made a difference but they aren't coming

Yes. We got one and a half points per game since January and have improved the squad.BFC88 wrote:So you think we've got more than enough to stay up as it stands? I disagree and think without improving that midfield, we will struggle to survive. Got away with it big time last season.
As for the continued garbage posted about Taylor. He has been excellent in 2019 and was beyond poor in 2018. If you leave it to Dyche he proves you wrong with his incredible record of improving players. Tarky, Mee, Keane etc etc. That’s why we don’t need anyone. Also, as good as Taylor has become we have someone new chomping at the bit to get his shirt and there is no guarantee he will even start the game on Saturday..
