Utc has gone from too many keepers, Hart needs moving on to the goalkeeping situation needs sorting out ASAP in the blink of a newspaper article. Good opportunity for those who know about Hart's contract here.

Surely all three 'different' opinions you seem to have picked up on are actually all the same opinion, just worded differently.NL Claret wrote:Utc has gone from too many keepers, Hart needs moving on to the goalkeeping situation needs sorting out ASAP in the blink of a newspaper article. The Reds are keen to keep Simon Mignolet as the club’s number two but they have been weighing up their options if the Belgian looks to force a move away from Anfield
Would he prefer to be number 2 at Liverpool?

Well he knew about links with the ukranian guy a few weeks ago so I would say he knows his stuff. Other people other than dyche and garlick will be involved with the negotiation process at the club. Whether that be people drawing up contracts or going over accounts or scheduling meetings. Would guess one of these tell CT but knows that CT will not reveal anything and is trustworthy with such sensitive information

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS (MUST CONTAIN LINK)
The future of Víctor Camarasa is a mystery. The certain thing is that its exit before beginning the preseason seemed sung.FactualFrank wrote:Translator needed please...

His great year in Cardiff had placed him in the market, where several teams, mainly from the Premier, had been interested in the Valencian. Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Leicester City have had their names on the agenda, but the 'hammers' and 'foxes' have paid large sums of money for Pablo Fornals and Youri Tielemans, while the Spurs are still waiting to know what is going to spend with Eriksen to make a decision.
The last one to join the list of suitors, according to 'The Sun', would be Burnley, a team trained by Sean Dyche who sees in the green-and-white player the ideal reinforcement for his midfield. Following this information, the British team would be willing to reach 13 million for the player of Meliana.
Neither Betis nor in the player's environment have, for the moment, proof of this interest. In fact, the start of the preparation, with Rubi as commander in chief, could have changed plans to all parties. The Catalan coach himself, at a press conference, hinted yesterday that one of the players who last season played on loan could stay the next course and all eyes were focused on the ex-player of Levante, whose performance seems to be convincing the Catalan coach, with which already coincided in the granota set.
So things, at this pre-season he seems that the midfielder has the same options to leave than to stay.
Since the club have not spoken about it and are waiting for the verdict of Rubi, but do not close to hear offers by the player, whose termination clause is 25 million euros.

I'm amazed at how little the last few posters understand about what information a local journalist has access to.
I suspect that what privileged information that is shared is given on the base that if it is released before expected
then it is the last information to be shared with that journalist. Get real.

Iam not saying I don't believe it, but if you read this thread (and others) there is a hatred for anything printed in the sun, I guess down to political beliefs rather than facts. Yet every single rumour that people are getting excited about at this time, was first mentioned by the sun, or one of its reporters, but yet its called lies on here, but the same people will believe its true, based on an unprinted article.Reecey1987 wrote:I guess you would just have to take his word for it .

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS (MUST CONTAIN LINK)
Clearly the Ukrainian hasn't come to anything, but he and Klitch (if there's anything in it) look like slightly different types of mdifielder to that I was expecting us to be interested in this summer. Neither appear to be natural holding type players - they both look to be more advanced players who'd perhaps compliment a holding player, or who would be capable of playing in a slightly more advanced role in a midfield 3. I suppose that's consistent with Dyche's comments about adding flexibility to the squad, and perhaps follows a trend back to last summer where we were linked with Clucas (again in that more advanced, flexible mould) and of course lost Arfield - who was precisely that sort of player.

At short notice I am now watching Porto v Betis on Friday. Will be interested to see if Victor Camarasa makes an appearance, and if there are any Burnley scouts there
Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS (MUST CONTAIN LINK)
Camarasa is similarly flexible. We do need players to be versatile, but there needs to be preference IMO for a player who will hold down a defensive role to challenge Cork.claretspice wrote:Clearly the Ukrainian hasn't come to anything, but he and Klitch (if there's anything in it) look like slightly different types of mdifielder to that I was expecting us to be interested in this summer. We need a brick shithouse in midfield that can thread balls through the middle.
Where would Camarasa play, right wing? Too lightweight in a midfield two I would think.

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS (MUST CONTAIN LINK)
If we don't strengthen centre mid this summer then for me the window has to go down as a failure. Assuming no more incomings then it will be another transfer window where we have failed to improve our starting XI.

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS (MUST CONTAIN LINK)
I dont agree with this. I think we need good footballers who have the ability to retain possession, play quickly when required, add creativity and be able to pick a pass. Someone like Camarasa could play wide in a four and also be effective in a middle 3 should we choose to play 5 across the midfield.Giftonsnoidea wrote:We need a brick shithouse in midfield that can thread balls through the middle.

In my opinion, someone like Camaras would be a replacement for Defour. He showed last season that he can put up with the physical demands of the Premier League and, by all accounts, was Cardiff's stand out player.
