Palace reportedly close to wrapping up Camarasa deal. €12-15m, personal terms agreed.

Which if like any of our previous 4th choice strikers, will be lucky to get 90 minutes for the whole season combined.

I'm happy to ship out Vydra, as obviously something has gone on ( too much talking in the media ) and Mr Dyche doesnt fancy him.

Think he was got as Jay Rod wasnt available, now he is here, I think it'll be tatty bye.

Still certain we will bring in at least 2 more bodies.
There were murmurs we were looking at a few younger lads for the future, that would command fees.

I wouldn't be adverse to spending a few million there ( which will be easily spare ) once the first team had been taken care of.

Name me a player who had to choose between us and another team? .... You have to put bids in for that to happen!

Wasn’t it reported that Colin said we’d asked Cardiff for a reference? If that’s right there was clear interest. His agent may simply have told us that he didn’t fancy it.

Probably no different than when Sam Vokes was seen singing Que Sera Sera at Anfield when Southampton got to Wembley.

Aye it is - almost represents value in a crazy summer, but I think I saw last year that Palace had the 17th highest wage bill in the whole of Europe.

It's frustrating for everyone but he'll be wanting a 3 - more likely 4 - year deal. That's a massive commitment if you're one of the few clubs left without a 'sugar daddy' owner.

Hopefully. Way too late in the window to be selling someone like Tarky. We may get £50 mil, but we get more than double that if we remain in the Prem.

If 2 London teams are chasing him,i can't see him moving up North, wages would be hefty as well, plus no resale value, unless Tarks or Gibson are moving on,or indeed both,i can't see where he'd fit into our 1st 11,and at his age he'd need to be playing regularly, that's the reason he left Chelsea,he wasn't getting enough footie.

It would only make sense if we already have a guaranteed replacement.
I'd rather we kept him, but much like Heats, if he wants to go it would be silly to keep an unhappy player. I think Tarks is worth 50mill if Maguire is worth 85, but I cant see Leicesyer being willing to pay that.

Tell ‘em to go whistle. Unless he does have an escape clause that he wants to use. If he wants to move and doesn’t have a release clause we can play hardball for £65m, settling for £60m. Only following Leicester’s lead.

If Leicester were to offer £25 million for Tarks I would hope the phone is slammed down at Turf Moor after saying come back with three times that.

In fact as Maguire is left sided Gibson may be a better option for Leicester at, say, £50 million

It would be mad for Leicester not to have someone lined up to replace Maguire as every man and his dog has known that Maguire and his massive bonce were heading to Old Trafford. If we sold Tarkowski, then it would be equally mad if we didn't have someone lined up to replace him. Doesn’t take much for the average fan to make a link with Tarkowski and Leicester now Maguire has gone so surely the club will know if this is going to happen.

Fully agree but its the premium that seems to be put on English players. Plus these clubs with foreign owners do not need to sell unless they get silly fees like this. This is where we will always struggle when keeping players. But rather have what we have than an owner who is using us for fun for a couple of years

According to some reports he didn't want to leave Spain full stop, so the bright lights of London may have been a slight inducement

Peacock Farrell, McNeil, Dunne, Koiki, Benson that we know of. This is why clubs have U23 sides now. Players are probably playing 5 years longer than they were 20 years ago meaning not as many young lads are getting a chance. Managers arent willing to risk there job on an untried youngster over an experienced pro. Too many trigger happy chairmen around.
