Well other than the 4 we already have and a young lad by the name of Benson who has been impressing, so not all doom and gloom.

We’ve needed a new CM for about the last 4 windows, no point getting your hopes up.

It’s only fair that Leicester make a profit so our starting point should be give us £79m for Tarkowski!

That would be the ideal scenario if Vydra had to go.
I’d say that that’s not going to happen though.

If true I feel bad for the guy, he was hung out to dry at Burnley, never got a fair shot.

With McGuire moving, I think that opens things up a lot (with enough time before the window closes to get deals done).
Dunk to Leicester could happen (since they just signed that guy from Bristol City), and then I think Cahill will land somewhere.

don't think Tarks is on Leicester's radar.

I'm still optimistic about us signing someone else.

That’s because he’s currently one of the best defenders in the world.

Agree. He’s barely had a chance. We don’t see what goes on behind the scenes though. Maybe Dyche wants him to play differently to his natural game. Lennon has turned into a dreadful player imo scared to take on a man and pass the halfway line and yet McNeil has free reign. Would love to know what Vydra isn’t doing right.

VVD was very good with Southhampton. He has become world class at Liverpool.

McGuire was good for Leicester. Time will tell if he becomes world class with ManU.

I agree. It's also a shame that I'm absolutely convinced that he'll do very well for them - worth a punt on him being Championship top scorer if the move goes through.

Will be interesting to see what happens with McNeil now he's a bit more established. Will Dyche let him play his natural game or will we see all the flair knocked out of him?

Compare him to John Terry & Rio Ferdinand at the same age and I'd say he's nowhere near as good, and they were considered world class!

You can't knock flair into someone, you either have it or you don't.

Just thinking, for £80m, you could buy 16 million square metres of tile from B&Q.

So still not quite enough to cover Maguire's forehead.

That may be correct. But notice my use of the word ‘currently’. Harry Maguire is currently better than John Terry and Rio Ferdinand.

It's all well and good having an £80 million pound defender in your line up but when his defensive partner is this fella

£10m and Vydra for Phillips would be great business, though we’d need another striker and to get rid of Wells.

Long to Forest and Cahill on a free would be great business too.

We haven’t, sadly, been linked with Phillips though have we? Would be ideal for us, but Villa have been after him all summer and as we’ve seen with Tom, they get what they want.

We have though been linked with 29 year old journeyman Klich from Leeds. Maybe it’s a straight swap? Wouldn’t be keen on that.

That was my point,he's not good enough for United and they just shelled £80 million out for his partner.
