Sad to hear that iconic New Orleans musician and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Dr. John (Mac Rebennack) has died aged 77 of a heart attack. Saw him perform many times, most memorably a the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and at Tipitina's in New Orleans. A colourful character and his music has been part of my life for more than 40 years.
