Only way this guy is going to be a "geezer" is when he mans up and tells us all what went on that night at his gaff....he knows.

I thought reading the letter from the CPS did the opposite of what he intended. He read it as though he was exonerated when in fact it was stating that there was insufficient evidence.

He looked to be hiding something, to me. Not telling the whole truth.

There is insufficient evidence of him committing any crime. The days of being innocent until proved guilty are long gone, the McCann’s are another example.

Interested as to why you might be calling him a ‘perv’?

I've been a contestant on strike it lucky, it was in the late ninties. It was filmed at Thames Television studios on the banks of the river Thames.
I met many a celebrity in the canteen during filming. Sue Barker and Ally McCoist on a break from doing A Question of sport, Melinder Messenger and Linford Christie who were doing Parkinson, Mel and Sue were recording the late lunch, plus many more.
Didn't see much of Barrymore before or after recording the actual show, thought he would have spent more time with us on the day. Got talking to a woman who owned a paper shop near the studios where he called in often for cigarettes and she didn't have much good to say about him either.
Ah well, at least I got a few grand out of it.

Cant remember many of the names but my mate recognised a lot, such as half the cast of Londons Burning who were doing some studio work at the time.
We were put up in the Sherlock Holmes hotel on Baker Street, it was £156 / night then!

They’ll never know the full truth of what actually happened Though he was literally buggered to death with god knows what and had “severe anal injuries “ How much was drug induced /consensual no one will ever know . A wild party full of drugs and promiscuous homosexuals ended in a tragic most likely accidental death . Would have barely made the news if hadn’t been at Barrymore’s gaff , though a truly sordid tragic death whichever way you look at it
