I hope you have a very large umbrella ready from 4am tomorrow for twenty four hours.

An awful lot of rain heading your way.

That's what you get for living at the end of the A47.

Rain? I intend sitting under the parasol in the garden. Since when did a drop of rain hurt anyone?

You do know that East Anglia is the driest part of the country, don't you? Heavy rain here is no more than a summer shower elsewhere.

A gentle, steady rain all afternoon. No thunder and lightning, no deluge, "nothing to laugh at, at all."

According to the Met Office, London is the driest part of the country.

A very very late Happy Birthday by the way.

But not you, TT. tybfc went long ago. Now FF has gone. I wonder who else I can upset?

Getting back on thread, it is now raining heavily and we've had two claps of thunder. It's beginning to get exciting :D

Nice try, but I haven't gone. It's raining quite a lot for the driest place in the country!

You haven't upset me at all.

Apologies Factual Frank.

It has been a long day.

spades would understand.

I have taken the sick and needy to the hospital.

I have made a curry for the the hungry.

I have only 18 minutes to complete my Tesco order to be delivered tomorrow before I am deleted from this planet.

And if I don't her who must be obeyed will find out I have been on this website instead of Tesco's and I will be be sent to Ewood for 20 years.

Don't tell me... pieces of string with drawing pins? Ahh the days when my mum had her own notebook and would genuinely send 150-200 out a year.
