Re: Space
I've just had a discovery channel doc on Space in the background. I thought you were watching the same programme!

Part of the Broudie bunch (who seemed to write songs for Dodgy, Space and his own Lightning seeds).cricketfieldclarets wrote:Well underrated!
First album was great, second was gash.
Re: Space
Pretty sure both Space and Dodgy wrote all their own stuff.Darthlaw wrote:Part of the Broudie bunch (who seemed to write songs for Dodgy, Space and his own Lightning seeds).

Re: Space
I used to help run a small family festival in North Yorkshire a few years ago - we had Dodgy and The Lightening seeds on the bill one year. Dodgy charged 2K and The lightening seeds charged 6K - we gave Ian Broudie the 5K in cash (he wanted 1K deposit) - he nearly shat himself, thought he was going to get mugged after the gig. Dodgy were amazing live but swore a lot (it was supposed to be a family festival).

Speaking of Britpop, I watched The Bluetones at St Mary’s Chambers in Rawtenstall at the weekend. They were alright.
