Loved Ade Akinbiyi. When he was good, he was very, very good.

I missed this cracking goal at Luton which I think was the second of his hatrick

I was at the game and had decided to take a pee and was standing at the urinals when I heard a big roar from our fans above me

When I zipped up and got back to my seat my Son said .....

What a goal you missed Dad!!!

From memory wasn't he sent off on his debut about 2 minutes after coming on as a sub against Sunderland for headbutting McCartney I think it was?

It shouldn’t be funny when your star signing tries to throttle an opponent two minutes into his debut but I couldn’t help but **** myself laughing.

Some good little goals there an a few belters. Notice how many of them are composed hits and along or near to the ground - awkward for keepers.

Ade was brilliant first time round. Such a shame we had to sell him.

I was just going to mention that. Smashed it into the far top corner from an impossible angle.

I'll never forget that Friday night in 2005 sat in the Ighten Leigh as Ade was about to come on as a substitute. The bloke sat next to my dad said "ey up, Predators coming on" as he did that keypad self destruct button pressing thing on the underside of his wrist. Me and my dad cracked up, were proper tickled, tears streaming, laughing for getting on three minutes straight until the ref pulled out that red card. Both our jaws dropped for about 10 seconds then we cracked up again at the surreality of it all.

What a fantastic assist from Branch for goal 6 against Southampton, beauty of a cross and lovely touch beforehand. My favourite has to be the Luton goal though, absolutely smashes it in.

I thought he was going to be an absolute donkey but he turned out to be one of my favourite Burnley strikers, not the most graceful or technically gifted but a nightmare for defenders and had serious pace during his first spell.

Best of Ade - that fantastic afternoon at Luton with Spicer in goal . That goal at Chelsea.
Worst of Ade - extra time v Spurs at the Turf after getting it back level on aggregate. I remember him coming on and giving a demonstration of how not to hold the ball up which saw momentum shift away from us.

Yes very disappointing from him. He looked knackered after a few minutes

I remember going down to reading when we were really **** and couldn't score in a brothel and decided to go for a pie just before half time. Ade turned on the edge of the box and put one in the bottom corner and I missed the whole thing. I think we went on to lose 2-1 that day. How far we have come.
