For all those moaning about no hot water in the bogs at the Turf...remember this :)
Yeah, but that had hot running water, as did the one behind the Beehole. Well, sort of :D

The bogs at the bottom of the Long Side were pretty luxurious compared to the ones behind the Bee Hole.

The best place for a slash was round the back of these bogs against the outside wall.;)

These two pictures were taken within seconds of each other, showing the toilet and refreshment area, and through to outside of the stand. Obviously not everybody decided to go onto the concourse at half time either but, as you can see, there is no room.

How are they going to fit the extra fans in now we have a further 300 home seats?

Looking at those pics, are the concourses any more packed than say those at the Etihad or the Emirates stadium at half time, for example?

Didn't the bee hole bogs used to overflow and the p**s used to run down the steps leading up to the bee hole end?

I'd give anything to relive the good old day's, I know the ground is better now and the premier league is the place to be, but it's just not the same.

Yes. You can see that firstly half of the fans have to spill outside into the smoking area, whether they smoke or not, whilst being exposed to the elements.

Inside it is more crowded than City, but not as packed as Everton, although it’s wasnt full against Olympiacos.

The main issue they could help with is the locations of the toilets to the beer kiosk. They’re the wrong way around which causes problems. I’m glad I’m not in that stand all the time.

I don't actually go in the CFS (although I did have a seat there for a season way, way back) but it strikes me that the club could seriously re model the whole of the underneath and modernise it and make if far more fit for purpose, if they took out the team changing facilities and all that goes with it and moved them elsewhere. The elsewhere could, for example, be purpose built in the corner between the JHU and the CFS (or the opposite corner) along the lines of the disabled structures at the other end. Just a thought.

I am old enough to remember when we developed the Bob Lord at the expense of the team with disastrous consequences.I hope there are funds in place for the alterations and the team to be developed.

Different times. We had a turnover of around £200K and spent £300K on a stand.

Right now that would be like us spending £180m on a stand, when the reality is for £30m we could get a new one.

Realistically any re-development of the CFS must include relocation of the cricket club. Turf Moor as a stadia simply needs more space and also this could provide Turf Moor itself with a much needed facelift.

We should work with the local councils to make the cricket club a good offer, if refused then we should consider a compulsory purchase order. Compulsory purchase orders can be made when its argued it's for public betterment. There is no doubt that BFC is vastly more important to the town than the cricket club remaining in it's current location.

However I do wonder how much the current directors are committed to the football club remaining at Turf Moor.

Another supporter who thinks the cricket club should do what they are told and bigger off just so that we can build a better stand with more plastic seats.

If it ever comes down to a choice of the cricket club or the football club has to move then I know which one I would prefer. It is not a case of us forcing a move I’m sure the cricket club would be amply reimbursed.

Sod it, let’s move to another site well away from the cricket club, and then we can see how they like getting no revenue from parking and drink sales on a match day.
