Thought these 2 would win but wonder what the vote have been like for the best actual pairing. Maybe similar. Jones and Marney were superb together as were Barton and Jones.

0% Kev Mac!! You look at the career he’s had after leaving us with the blades, Wolves & Fulham (albeit mainly at a level below) and wonder what might have been??
Talent wise not sure anyone comes close to Defour, just such a shame he can’t string a significant run of games / a full season together.

The vote for Hendrick was very low. Embarrassing for tge lad.

I guess a lot depends on your criteria. If it is the player who made the biggest contribution, then Marney and Barton for sure, but if it is simply the best player then Defour wins by a country mile with Barton second I think.

Feel for Hendrick, he's a much better player than 2% suggests.

Not surprised sadly to see Hendrick and Jones continue to get the bashing from UTC posters. If we're going off the full 10 years, surely they did more for the club than Barton?

Me thinks it's similar to the Trevor Steven on the Wall of Legends thing going on here.
I went for Marney and Jones.

Nobody bashed them though? Not like the vote was a full on ranking system for every option. Regardless, very hard to look past the most influential midfielder (quite easily so) in a title campaign.claretburns wrote:Not surprised sadly to see Hendrick and Jones continue to get the bashing from UTC posters.
