I'd be only interested in the dance/trance music, so guessing the Dance music tents.

Was hoping it would be shown on BBC1 after the Killers. When it wasn’t I tried iplayer but it’s only listing yesterday’s, so I’m watching Jon Hopkins. Will have to catch Chemical Brothers on catch up tomorrow.

The problem with The Killers is is that they never fulfilled their potential. The first 2 & a half albums were great, but after that it became cheesy, tedious, pompos and bloated

Can’t disagree with that. A lot of good tunes on that first album but they kind of sold out.

I saw them at the Manchester Apollo the same week as Sams Town came out. It was an incredible gig, a truly electric atmosphere. Easily one of the best gigs I've ever been to. You came away knowing they would never play that size of venue again, they were on the cusp of being something really special.

That's the really disappointing bit for me as it just became nothingness really

I think there’s a few things you can level at their performance, but I don’t think you can call it a shambles. If anything, they were a bit too slick, which was part of the problem imo.

The undoubted highlight was the encore with PSB and Johnny Marr as Brandon Flowers seemed genuinely chuffed and dropped the facade a bit.

They’re a far better band when they’re on the synth bangers and a Flowers stops trying to be Springsteen.

226 - Brandon Flowers will never ever be a patch on Bruce Springsteen, even if he fronts the Killers ‘til he’s ninety.

229 - I’ve long been a fan of Liam G ( I was at Knebworth way back then) and I was looking forward to his show.. which was pretty good - but isn’t his voice shot?
It certainly isn’t what it was.. ( the crowd loved him though)..

Five Star awards to Interpol, Johnny Marr and the 20 minutes that I saw of the Chemical Brothers... really looking forward to The Cure later.

Glastonbury is an amazing festival of music ( and all the rest) and I think the BBC do an excellent job of covering it

I re- listened to some of the Killers set on R2 today, the sound was way better, I don't know how they managed to fvck it up so much for the tv.
