My aunt was his P.A. at Lord's Butchers for years, but again, passed away many years ago.

There are a few still around...in their 70s and 80s.
Plus a few who always wonder where he got his meat from during the war...

My Dad worked for Bob Lord. In fact, it was Bob Lord who got him a ticket for the FA Cup final in 1962. My Dad had queued up but didn't get one. When he mentioned it at work, Bob turned up and gave him one (at face value of course . He wasn't all bad.

My mother, now well into her 90s, can remember serving him in her grandparents’ shop in the 1930s. She thought he was ‘cocky’.
