If Lucy Bronze can't aspire English girls to play football then no one or nothing can.
Fantastic.
Fantastic.

England were excellent. Norway has their chances, but England could have had 6.

Really enjoyed that and love all the northern accents. 11 of the 14 players were northerners and I didn’t see one dive all match. Proper football but we need to cut out the sloppiness at the back because going forward we look good enough to win it.

Keira Walsh went to Hassy High just round the corner from me.

. Not that quick, but a good leader and reads the game quicker than most. Comes across like a female Ben mee or Jamie carragher. And she needs to as she's playing with a centre half partner that is Larry Lloyd.Cubanclaret wrote:Thought they were excellent. Steph Houghton looks great, conceded no goals. Good luck to them.

I bet you daren't tell Lilly Bright to her face shes like Larry Lloyd. She looks like the type of lass that could squeeze all the pips out of your two jaffastimshorts wrote:. Good win for England,Lucy Bronze showing her class on the big stage again, ball retention needs to improve and defensively they need to tighten up,the USA or France won't be so wasteful in front of goal, and another missed spot-kick by Nikita Parris, she might have to be relieved of penalty duties in future.

It's amazing how keen some people are to tell you that they don't like women's football.

It was an England national team competing in the quarter finals of an elite level tournament which was available on free to air TV.Wile E Coyote wrote:proof if any was needed what advertising can do, Well done BBC for making this non event a sporting topic for half wits.
