I believe Michael Sheen is playing him in the soon to be announced Roger Eli biopic.

He looks a hell of a lot younger in that photo than how I remember him.

I went to watch Darlington at Halifax with a Darlington fan about 15 years ago. Harper was still playing wing-back for them. There was a big Darlo following there and they seemed more than happy to join in a chant of “Stevie, Stevie Harper”.

Not how I remember him looking him one bit! All moustache and perm from what I recall. Was only a kid though.

Brilliant in our championship season regardless

He was the player the fans targeted at that time. Used to get dogs abuse.

That was 2018!

However, the premise is the same. I just forgot that I picked him last time. :-)

Coincidence? Or do I sense a bit of a man crush? ;)

I thought he was ace and am surprised to hear he got dogs abuse. I was a kid when he played and thought players like him and Ady Randall should have been playing for England

The only person I know for sure who received pelters in an around that time was that Teasdale Out bloke
