Padiham on Parade
What a lovely weekend it is for the 1940s themed armed forces celebration weekend in Padiham.
If you're looking for something to do with the family get yourself down. It's a superb event in the centre of Padiham.

Re: Padiham on Parade
Have to say it looked very impressive last night when I went through on the way to the cricket with all the Union Jacks flying throughout the town centre and up the hill towards Memorial Park.
Certainly got the weather for it this weekend and hope it's a great event.

Looks like they’re filming a UKIP Party Political Broadcast. Every year, without fail.

Even a free Benedictine tent for everyone to sample.

Padiham harking back to the 1940s. Literally changing nothing.

The Prosecco and Ginception van looked to be doing well in memorial park at the bandstand. Glorious setting today with entertainment.

Your list makes it sound as though you think Vera Lyn was worse than Auschwitz, Hitler and polio!fatboy47 wrote:Yes yes...the good old 40s...vera lynn, auschwitz, millions of violent deaths, hitler, mussolini, polio, rationing and the blitz.

I've been told the fly past was cancelled due to technical difficulties.
